B.Voc/B.Sc.- Dialysis Technology
The B.Voc / B.Sc in Dialysis Technology is a specialized undergraduate programme designed to prepare students for advanced roles in renal care and dialysis management. With kidney-related diseases increasing worldwide, skilled dialysis technologists are in high demand across hospitals, nephrology centres, dialysis units, and critical-care facilities.
This programme provides an in-depth understanding of renal anatomy, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, fluid & electrolyte balance, dialysis machinery, vascular access care, infection control, and patient monitoring. Students gain strong theoretical knowledge as well as hands-on clinical training in real dialysis centres to become job-ready healthcare professionals.
Upon successful completion, graduates can support nephrologists and dialysis units in delivering safe and life-sustaining treatment to chronic kidney disease (CKD) and renal-failure patients.
